I used to have two yorkies at around 12lbs, but my current girl is actually a little chunky at 11lbs (last weighed anyways) but her ideal weight is about 8-9lbs. She's still a "larger" yorkie cause she's so tall (if somewhat dainty structured) and above the standard, which is a good thing cause when I first got her she was so dainty/tiny and accident prone, I was actually relieved she gained a bit more size (was wanting a yorkie that was a little smaller than my past ones but no smaller than average, to me anything under 6lbs was just too small).
