One of my fosters recently had the same symptoms. He is on metronidazole and doing fine.  Usually with those symptoms, it is a bacterial thing or parasites.

I am very careful when I start seeing multiple recalls....quality control is an important part in the production of dogfood, and multiple recalls leads me to believe there is a problem in that area.
Stress often causes them to have bouts of bloody diarrhea...coccidia is often the culpert....it is treated with metronidazole with excellent results.
