Just a little FYI. If you google Merrick and FDA recalls you will see they have had many issues with salmonella. I believe it was in their treats, but I personally would not trust that company after reading all of the reports on them.
One of my fosters recently had the same symptoms. He is on metronidazole and doing fine.
Usually with those symptoms, it is a bacterial thing or parasites.
