Way long ago I raised a couple of German Shepherds from 6-8wks...The first was housebroken by the end of day three (completely), the other took longer--all of a week! I've had my Piper-girl for about 8 months; she's four yrs and I'm still working on housebreaking! I act all excited when asking is she want to go outside, watch her and if she's not concentrating, I call her back in and try later. If she does her business, I get even more excited when calling her in and give her a piece of (canned) chicken, all the while telling her what a good, good girl she is...Basically, when I'm home, Piper is 99% housebroken. The 9 hrs I'm at work is another story; sometimes the house is spotless, sometimes I come home to a barn, sometimes she uses pads, other times not...Our little sweethearts are notoriously intelligent, infamously stubborn, and relentlessly determined. And I couldn't be happier with Piper, all of her quirks, that silly little personality, her sweet nature, her patience...I love her beyond all reason and wouldn't change one thing. I am sure you'll get your little guy housebroken--just remember, you've met your match! You'll make it!!!
