I found the treats!! A pet store that I go to every so often said they used to have them, but they didn't sell very well, so they stopped selling them. They were sampling them at the counter. She said she wished they would have sampled them earlier because all the dogs love them. She gave me a little Baggie of them and Lexi seems to really like them. I ordered some on Amazon and then realized they might have them at Petco. They look like they are pretty healthy, made in the USA too. I think they might work. I agree they are smelly though. I might have to use a rubber glove. I can't get that smoky smell off my fingers. I am trying the ball point pen to try to desensitize her to the clicker sound.
