ZoE is fours years old and healthy.

I agree with what others have said about YT and the internet in general being places that people search when they have problems, so you get a disproportionate amount of unhealthy/problem yorkie posts. I think that makes new yorkie owners nervous.

Personally, I feel like there is a warped perception of yorkies here; not only with yorkie health, but other things too. Only here do I get such a strong 'yorkies are hard to potty train' vibe. All the yorkies I've known, which has been many in my lifetime, potty-trained quickly & easily.

I've said it often in response to threads, I believe raising a dog is like raising a child. The few problem ones you hear about, the few exceptional ones you hear about, but the average well-behaved, does the right thing, stays out of trouble, tries hard at their schooling, you don't...even though they are the majority. I refer to it as the 'news mentality.'
