I agree with Sally's excellent points.
My boys are almost 6 and 7. The only issues we have had were 1) a couple little viruses that caused a day or two of vomiting and diarrhea, 2) Max had eye ulcers that were caused by repeated injury (different causes). The treatment caused a hair to grow under his eyelid that had to be removed with a laser. No permanent damage, thank goodness.
Otherwise, healthy and no congenital problems.
