Don't get in too much of a panic, I have had yorkies since I was young, they don't don't all have health issues in fact they have a long lifespan we had one that was 15 with never a days illness until she passed, the insurance is a good idea, just in case of emergencies. Enjoy having your little one .I think it's a good idea to have supervised play with your Chi as pups an be quite rambunctious and get carried away playing and nipping sometimes.
