Good Wife Guide, maintaining children and house is a full time JOB. No sick time, no paid holidays. That's a 365 day job. Does anyone remember the Donna Reed show where she would be in a beautiful dress, swooping through the door, looking all refreshed in full make up after a full day of house work lol. The perfect picture of what a perfect wife should look like when DH would get home from work. Always made me feel like a failure because I couldn't be a Donna Reed housewife, in beautiful dress and full make up and perfect hair style, with perfect table set up and perfect dinner to be served as soon as DH walked through that door. Thank GOD that brain washing has ended and hubby's help when wife holds down same full time job as he does. Gezzzz was this a response or a rant lol.
Yes, I remember Donna Reed and it made our entire generation feel as though she should be some sort of idol for awhile and then when our brains checked in we realized there had to be a happy medium.
