I couldn't get into GOT at first either. There were so many characters, and I don't like gore..and it was gory, so I only got about 3 episodes in and gave up. Then Lauren came home one weekend right before season two started and we had a marathon (with wine of course
) and she explained the characters and their connections, then I was hooked. Still not a fan of the gore though...
i'm really liking Vikings. Four episodes in so far. Again, a bit gory for me. I am way too squeamish to have lived back in those barbaric times. But the story line is interesting & engaging.
