ZoE definitely runs to me when she scared, and jumps on my lap if I'm sitting down, and tries to scramble up my leg and into my arms if I'm standing. But if I'm not close, any human lap is good for her. She has jumped on strangers laps to get away from other dogs....which is her main fear, ever since the neighbors dog escaped its yard and went after her. It saddens me.
