Jakester, we have tried Orijen and Acana, not Fromm. Also Merrick chicken stew, Blue Basics Lamb and Sweet Potato and a couple of other commercially prepared foods. We have also tried a couple of the RC limited ingredient RX foods (Venison and Sweet Potato, and Duck and ???). We also had him on the RC lowfat gastro canned food. He did ok on the RC lowfat food, but it isn't an ideal food for our other healthy dogs and I would really like all three of them on the same food. And he did just barely ok on the Blue Basics, in that he was only throwing it up a few times per week. But its not a great food either. It is not that he won't eat the other foods. He is a chow hound and will gobble anything I put in front of him, its holding it down that is the problem. And most of them have also given him really soft stools. We also tried the slowest transition on earth away from the Pedigree, starting with just five kibbles, then ten, then 15. By the time we got to 15, he was usually back to throwing up. We also tried some probiotic packets from the vet but they didn't help much either. The only food he has eaten without throwing up is the Primal, and we've been feeding him that exclusively now for nearly a month. I really don't know if it is the food or the goat's milk that has made the difference, but it would be hard to choose to go back to that crazy food spin! Now you guys have me questioning the safety of the Primal though! I don't know whether to keep feeding it or not.
