Is he the only dog in the house? If yes, I would suggest free feeding. When Lexi was the only dog I was so tired of trying to get her to eat that I just free fed. She sometimes wouldn't eat until later in the day, but she always ate enough and never threw up bile.

When Parker joined us, we had to stop free feeding because he loved to eat and would overeat if we let him. Getting Lexi to eat on a schedule was not working. I also was going to start working on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a few hours and didn't like the idea of Lexi not eating all morning. I tried wet food again and that worked a little, but she still didn't eat much of it some mornings. I then tried Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Mixer to add to her kibble. I was a little hesitant because it came in pieces, but I was able to mash up the pieces with a fork and add a little water to it and mix it together. Both dogs love it. Lexi has (for the first time ever) eaten all of her food both morning and night for the past month since I started it. The only downside is I couldn't find it in stores so I had to order it online (I used chewy.com). They come in 3 flavors, but the chicken was the easiest to mash up. The Lamb is not too hard, but the beef some reason is not easy to mash up. I still use the beef, but not as much as the other 2. I know this may not work for your pup, but it was the only thing that worked for us.
