My George had a symptom free collapsed trachea. He once had an issue with his oxygen level during a dental....my vet was very concerned. Anyway, the next time he needed one, I went to a vet specialist for it and he did just fine. They honestly didn't do anything different but I felt better doing it there due to the fact that they have more support if a dog gets in trouble while under.
