I have two that would run straight for me every time. Then there is Jasmine.....she is my killer and doesn't have a fearful bone in her body. I don't care what she hears, however loud it is, day or night....she is the protector of the house and takes every noise around here personally and must find what caused it. I raised German Shepards while my children where still at home, but Jasmine is a much better guard dog than they were. I should have named her Radar!
