Hi 2.5 lbs is really small so you definitely need some nutrical on hand. One of my pups is really small too. If your pup eats well you don't have to give it to her too often. I free feed my pups so if I leave in the morning and they haven't eaten yet then I would give it to my pup in case she doesn't eat while I'm gone. I also give it to her when she's anxious or stressed. White gums can also be a signal to give them some nutrical. |
