Default When scared, does your Yorkie run to you or away from you?

Eddie is a runner. If a sound scares him or something else unknown frightens him, he runs and hides. He usually wants nothing to do with me.

Jillie, however, stunned me last night. In a stressful situation, she ran TO me. I love that about her. It shows trust.

I was in the backyard at midnight putting my bicycle away and Jillie was sauntering around the backyard. Suddenly, a HUGE BOOM went off. It turned out it was a powerline transformer exploding nearby, but I was momentarily terrified. All of the sudden, I looked out and Jillie was tentatively walking toward me. She was obviously upset, but her reaction was to come to me. I coaxed her forward and picked her up.

Inside the house, my wife said Eddie hopped off the bed and hid under it.

Two dogs, two entirely different reactions. How would your dog react?
