Does your baby have PLE, then? I'm thinking yes. So sorry to hear this. I wish I knew more about it, but I really don't. However, we do have members here who have dealt w/ this and hopefully will chime in.
Usually, there is a special diet for this - is she on one?
As far as the heart, try not to worry too much at this point - many, many dogs can live a looooong time w/ an enlarged heart/CHF. My Wylie has pre-CHF and is on Enalapril for it and does just great, he is 10.
