Have you ever tried feeding her a different protein than the chicken, or is it always chicken? I'd be getting curious to try a different protein.

I had a similar prob when Marcel was a puppy...he had giardia, which can be a disaster for puppy's GI system longer term. Sure enough, he had diarrhea / mucus / gel poops for 4 mths and no vet could solve it. I finally and desperately contacted a canine nutritionist and she put Marcel on a whitefish diet and *bam*, he had normal poos within 2 days - I literally CRIED. It never recurred again. I fed him the fish diet for about 1 month, and then I switched to pre-made raw (Primal or Nature's Variety). The fish diet is any whitefish, potato, and green beans.
