Gme Thank you Bobbie Jo for replying. My heart goes out to you witnessing this terrible disease. My little Titan was cared for by specialists at the University of Tennessee Veterinarian Hospital. They are world known for treating special small breed cases. We spent thousands of dollars tying to help our baby. They did get him into remission for almost two years. But as you know this disease is fatal. The Drs. Talked about vaccinations, but couldn't know for sure if it was cause by environmental or pre conditions. My new little one is one month old. The breeder said he has heard of this disease but didn't know much about it. The breeder will start his vaccinations soon. I believe the first series will be DDP. Very little amount given every two weeks. I ask him about separating them. He said he couldn't do that because all the manufacturers combined them. This really worries me. Hopefully my baby will be able to come home at 10 weeks. I will talk to my regular vet about all other vaccinations. I will do everything possible to keep my baby in good health. This breeder is an AKC breeder and he supposedly does health screening on his sirs and dams. Keeping my fingers crossed and saying Yorkie prayers for everyone out there.
Thanks again
