Default Kefir and probiotics really help on antibiotics

There were a few threads on here about kefir a few months ago and I just wanted to say it really helps.

I've always had stomach problems; I have IBS, GERD, I'm IgA deficient (protects mucus membranes), and I take a lot of antibiotics. Usually the antibiotics are pretty hard on my stomach.

The past few times I've taken probiotics (cheap cvs brand) and kefir and I haven't had any problems as long as I don't get stressed (usual trigger) and eat before the antibiotic. The probiotics didn't help as much by themselves.

My routine is I swallow a probiotic pill with the antibiotic and then take about 3 drinks of kefir, close to 1/4 cup. I continue the probiotic and kefir for a week or two after stopping the antibiotic. I'd drink more if it were cheaper.
The kefir is lifeway brand, I buy a bottle of plain and peach and mix them.

I'm currently one week into a four week course of antibiotics for a sinus infection and I'm on liquid iron for anemia, my stomach hasn't been worse than usual.
