With mine, the motion detector doesn't pick up anything under 20lbs. I only have ZoE, so that works for me. The only time she set off the alarm was when she tried to get to some food left on a low table, and knocked a glass to the floor. The shattering and her scrambling set off the alarm. I'm only 2-3 miles from our township police station, so the house was surrounded in minutes!
