Do you not have birds of prey, like hawks, Eagles Owls. I don't know what weight you baby is, but at 3 months old he can't weigh that much, he can be carried off killed and eaten by one of these birds. One has to be very vigilant about what is in back yard and sky. I have a 3 y/o adopted city boy that now lives in the country with a back yard. Before this boy goes in that yard, everyday I check the fence perimeter to make sure he cannot get out, make sure no dog has gotten in the yard or other wild animal that could cause my baby harm. My heart is bleeding from just the visual of what horror this wee little baby went through getting torn apart from these giant dogs. I don't mean to sound harsh, yes hard lesson learned, but a little baby is paying for your lesson. The deed has been done, I pray you will check your entire yard and stay close to your little baby the next time you take him out. Accidents I realize do happen, you have to be very careful with these wee little babies. I stay with-in feet of my 3 y/o, running free is new to him, he puts everything in his mouth, will eat all kinds of bugs if I am not there to pry his mouth open to remove spiders, giant bees, caterpillars. Yes, back yards hold many dangers. I will pray your little Kinoh does not loose his vision in that poor little eye and has a full recovery. Hopefully other members can offer advise / suggestions about his emotional health after this horrifying attack.
