At five months old, your puppy should have no issues regulating its own glucose. I think people wayyyy overuse Nutrical. I fed my puppies three times a day and when they were a little bigger I switched over to twice a day. As adults, they can be fasted for 12-14 hours without sugar drops. If Spice is eating well and seems active then I would check w/ her veterinarian as to whether you need to add nutrical.
