Washing Stuff Dog Toys? Hi everyone!
I need some advice. I keep purchasing dog toys for my Yorkie. I did get an organic burt bees baby toy for my Angel but my Angel likes dog toys best and she loves the ones that squeak. I have been though a number of toys and found the following: (1) rope toys are dangerous because the dog is chewing the rope apart and could ingest it; (2) some low quality stuffed toys fall apart easily and stuffing is exposed, ears fall apart, etc.; (3) nylabones bones with the nubs are nice but my yorkie chews the nubs off and I am afraid she may ingest them. The best dog toy I have found so far is Huggle Hounds. It seems to stand up the best and does not fall apart so it appears to be safer then the others on the market, but they are more expensive. MY QUESTION: what is a safe washing method for dog stuff toys? can you use soap? washing machine detergent? Thanks . |
