Nutrical is used if the puppy is not eating and or having low blood sugar. I would not use diapers there just not meant for dogs and it won't train them. I would look at potty pads. Poo can get smeared all over there butts and pee can cause them a rash. I think as long as you are supervising play that there is no reason for them not to be together. I would make sure with the new puppy you handle her when she is eating so she doesn't become food aggressive.
