I can sympathize with your husband not watching closely! I have my little girl abou 90% trained to ring the bells on the door but my hubby will SWEAR he didn't hear her. So if I'm not home she has to stay in her exercise pen😞 I drives me crazy that I can't trust him to take her out! However, I console myself with the fact that he loves and cuddles her frequently, he just puts her back in the pen when he's done.
