Hi , I need your help again! I have been reading in the threads that you give your baby something called nurtical. I have had the joy of a few furbabies in my life but never a yorkie. A tiny one at that. She was 5 mo old when I got her and that was a month ago.
I have been reading this forum like a Bible. And am learning so much. I bought the book yorkies for dummies and feel like you all give such better ideas, suggestions and help.
What is nurtical used for ??? Why is it given?? Spicey has been to my vet even tho the person selling her said she was up on shots etc , I wanted my vet to check her out . I have suspicions about the seller that maybe they werent the best breeders. Just a feeling from different ? i had asked them etc. However my vet said Spice was in good health as far as she can tell, Spice will be having her blood work next month before she is spayed.
Spice is 2.5 and has been since I got her, she eats like a little horse ! LOL I give her RC dry for yorkie puppies and a tiny bit of canned , I mix it in together, she eats maybe 1/4 to 1/2 cup twice a day. The "breeders" were giving her purina for puppies.
I have a 14lb terrier , she is 8 yrs old but very playful, they get along wonderful but I worry when they play. Spicey will nip at Sugars legs until Sugar gets tired of it and wont play anymore. Of course at this point I always either pick Spice up and put her in her playpen or hold her as I dont want her getting hurt. After reading different threads i am thinking it is not good to let them play as Sugar could accidentally hurt Spice. What are your thoughts? When Spice nips at me when we are playing I say no and place her in her pen.
I know this is long but have so many questions.
Sugar is very food aggressive so of course when she is eating or getting a snack I always have Spice either in her pen or in her shoulder pouch.
At this point Spice is using diapers , although I believe when the weather cooperates she will be very easy to outside train her as now when Sugar goes out Spice will follow her to the door and wait til she comes back in. So I believe Sugar will be a great help in outside potty training of Spice.
I have strayed from my original ?. What do you use nurtical for? LOL
