I need to find the previous thread in which you and others discussed Jeremy Piven's portrayal of Selfridge. He is good, but a bit one note. Not as inspiring as the Moray character who owns the store in The Paradise. |
Yes, that's it exactly -- he's too one-note in his portrayal, making him seem very flat! He does get a little better, sort of, later one...but still, one note for the most part. Whereas Moray seems more thoughtful / introspective / intense.
How interesting about Rose - had no idea she did housing like that...what a smart woman.
