Default Yorkies in their Secret Worlds

I've referred in another post here as to how some friends of ours 're-homed' a tiny girl, a month, or so ago. We think she is just over a year or so and has had an insecure and unloved past. The relationship with Crystal is developing well, as her new guest visits frequently and we watch the unfolding side show.

Friday last 'Molly' decided to occupy one of Crystals little baskets, gather up all her toys (or those her little jaws availed access to) into this new 'fortress' and to then 'excavate' it's floor to 'bury' these new assets away from prying eyes. We introduced Crystal's other basket into the arena, to level things up a bit.

If Crystal attempted to enter the vacant basket, 'mini' Molly evicted her, whilst retaining the 'Alamo' at the same time! Very 'Laurel & Hardyesque', the whole event was like watching a juggler keeping all the plates spinning on the top of even more canes! Immediately apparent was how laid back Crystal has now become at two years of age.

Despite having home advantage and being a few weight classes up, she's really tolerant and lets her guest's acquisitive nature towards her toy chest prevail unassailed! We've also noticed that when their out together, Crystal adopts a protective profile towards her diminutive pal.

Molly 'yodels' rather than barks, which Crystal seemingly finds as amusing to reflect upon as we all do. What wonderful fun these little people in their secret worlds are to behold.
