Sounds like you are head over hills in love with your Yorkie!!! Can't blame you there. Seems like having a Yorkie almost always draws attention and ooh's and aah's, reaching for them, grabbing onto them, petting w/out permission, begging you to hold them, etc., no matter whether the hair is long, short, just-groomed or in need of a bath. Some members here complain some people really dis their tiny dog for being "rat"-like or yappy! Anything tiny in size, super engaged in its surroundings and cute to look at is going to draw people in so, long or short hair, you're going to always get attention of one kind or another from family, friends and strangers and thankfully, most of it is positive.
