My females were spayed at 22 weeks old (5 1/2 months old) the idea of spaying early is to spay before their first heat which can be at 5 1/2 to 6 months old. Best to spay now then wait 3 weeks till she is 24 weeks (6 months old) she can go into heat with-in those 3 weeks. Speak to your vet about the pros and cons of waiting till she is older before making your decision to wait.
