Default My yorkie won't eat.

Hi. 10 days ago I adopted a two year old yorkie. I was told he was free feed and that he was on blue buffalo brand food, which I kept because I did not want to change his first. I decided I wanted to put him on a schedule feeding because I been reading that it is better because it may help with him not getting over weight. Any ways, some days he may nibble the food but he hardly eat at all and I don't know what to do. I don't want him to starve himself this is my very first dog ever and I want to give him nothing but the best. I think his previous owners may have been giving him human food but I don't want to do that because my feelings are that he won't get proper nutrition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated it. Suicide with food or anything else that would make him a happy dog in my home. Also, what toys have work for your yorkie. I have bought him several squeaky toys, ball, ropes but the rope and ball he don't care for and the rubber he bites and break into a million pieces. Thanks
