My boy is in need of a cleaning. The vet yesterday said their price includes antibiotics before and after the procedure.
My question: Are antibiotics normally given because he hasn't been given them before when he had this done? The clean teeth and fresh breath don't seem to last long either.
I took him to a new vet yesterday so I'm just trying to understand why the same procedure wasn't followed before.
