I am in the area as well. Have not had any luck. This past October I found a beautiful yorkie puppy who seemed the picture of health and later discovered she has serious liver problems. It was quite difficult, but I gave her back to the breeder. I do keep in touch with the breeder because I fell in love with the puppy and want to know how she is doing. Now I am scared to trust anyone. If this lady could not give me a healthy puppy I have no idea were to turn. I had no idea of the prevalence of liver shunts in yorkies. I have had 6 yorkies throughout my life and never had a problem.
