No, I literally rescued her myself. The rescue org can't attend to every dog in a bad situation because there are so many. So I decided to take this on myself, on my own, not as part of a rescue organization. They are guiding me but she is my dog, so it's up to me to get shot & spay, training, etc. Thanks for the link. This is very worrisome and I may just take her to the emergency vet. In terms of the space heater, I moved it away and she left her bed to get closer to it :0 She really loves it. She is tired but more with it currently and I am not going to my dance class to stay home and watch her. Still, it's upsetting to see that the vet (who came highly referred and has great reviews) is not familiar with this basic protocol :/
