I have had multiple CCL surgeries done on my pups and not one needed physical therapy. They each recovered well. Yes, they did use the leg sooner than this ... I am just a bit concerned here about what has been done. I might seek another opinion before I went to therapy.

I also would never do any sort of exercises prior to the 6 - 8 week mark where they are released from crate rest,.

I only use a board certified surgeon and nothing is done prior to that time period and they all use the leg in due time.

I surely hope your pup will be ok....I don't know that I would be putting her in water to swim or do massages and exercises. But,that's just me.
