I used to schedule feed Rasta twice a day like you then got lazy and decided to try free feeding. The first day he ate ALL of his food right after it hit his bowl(fatty) after he realized by the third day he wouldn't be getting anything else in that bowl once the food ran out he started grazing and now a whole day's serving may last until the next morning. My MIL always says that sometimes folks "eyes are bigger than their stomachs" and they'll just eat and eat because the food is available not so much that their hungry. I'm sure this can apply to some of our yorkies. |
