I would listen to experienced breeders like Yorkiemom1 for advice on placenta, I think she says to let them eat just one, as more will give her diarrhea. I'm sure she will verify.

I would be very concerned having this vet be your "on call" person, with limited experience. What if she needs an emergency c-section or has problems.... will he be qualified to help and safe your momma and babies? I would consider lining up another vet in case things don't go well.
