Default Did You Allow Your Breeder To Choose Your Pup?

After having Rasta for over a year and training my husband to clean after our bully I've been given the go ahead to get another yorkie. My question is: Did you pick your pup yourself or did the breeder narrow down what she/he thought would be a good fit and you made the final decision? I've been waiting for over a year for Rasta's breeder to breed a particular pair, which she did in Oct/Nov. That pair only produced 2 pups(1 passed a male). Only the female was left to which I have claim since I was the first on her list for that litter's females. On the other hand, Rasta's parents have been bred again(5 girls) and my breeder thinks I would be happier with one of those puppies. My only criteria was for the puppy to be female, feisty, healthy, bigger than Rasta who's only 2.2 lbs(i do not want another tiny yorkie if I can help it!), and hopefully on the lighter color end since Rasta is dark, but I know size and looks are not a guarantee. The breeder has told me Rasta's siblings stayed dark like him so my chances are slim to get a light adult from his parents. Whereas the other sire/dam are blonde/blue. I'll attach a pic of the father so you can get an idea. He's gorgeous! I want one who looks just like him!
