I am not familar with this area but if you have her business name/kennel you can see if anything negative has been reported with the BBB. Also there is a website you can go to to see if she's on the "bad breeder list". That website has been posted on here before but gosh I cannot remember it now.

Also, you said her pups are AKC. You can also call AKC and they will tell you if she is in good standing with them or not. That is a huge plus right there!!

Other's here have paid I believe $400.00 for their Yorkie's and are happy as ever. There is such a wide range in pricing it is unbelievable but there are a lot of factors that take into play with the prices also. Like area, show dog quality or pet, stuff like that.
