My little Chloe who is 9 years old has a torn ACL and possibly PCL. I took her to the vet about 6 month ago and he put her on an anti-inflammatory. She was good for several months, but now she is having alot of problems walking.So I am thinking she probably needs surgery now. I am curious if anyone here has had any experience with this issue with your dog? How was the outcome? How was the recovery? Cost? He said that she would probably tear the ACL in her other leg as well? It is very hard to keep her calm and off her leg when I have 3 other yorkies who want to play all the time.
