My Hugo had CHF, he only lived to be 10 years old. He had to take lasix , vetmedian and enalapril everyday. Fortunately he never had any side effects from those meds. My vet had suggested an echo as well, but I did not take him. There was nothing they could do for him anyway. I did not want to put him through the stress of it and I tried to keep him as comfortable as possible until he passed. He lived for about 2 1/2 years after being diagnosed. Good luck with your baby! |
