 Sick puppy! Help!
I am new to the group. I have a 10 week old puppy whose name is Jeter. He has been sleeping in the bed with my fiancé and I since the week we brought him home about 3 weeks ago. He woke me up to go potty and ended up throwing up before going back to bed. I cleaned it and went to get back in bed and he threw up again. He has since then dry heaved a few times and threw up frothy like mucos with a tint of color from his previous vomit which was a pink/orange I'm think from his food. I have never been primary care giver of a yorkie so I have no idea what to do for him. In between throwing up he was running around and wanting to play and would lay down and throw up. He got a round of simply guard topical for fleas the day before at 5:30 pm and started throwing up around 3am that next morning. Our vet is closed on Sunday's and I'm not sure if he is sick enough for me to take him to an emergency animal hospital. Any help?? |
