Probably not without any exposure to other animals. How long have you had her? If I understand correctly, kennel cough can linger for a month or more, especially if untreated.

If the coughing is that sporadic, and if she is energetic, probably not kennel cough. Could be something innocent like dry mouth, or hair in the mouth. Does she have access to water at night?
Sometimes eating and drinking too fast will cause these little ones to hack and cough.
