Michelle, I am not trying to diagnose here because I don't know that Couver has what Cookie does.....I just want to share this thread with you in hopes that maybe your husband will look at it. My Cookie did not look sick at all when she was diagnosed. I took her in for something mild (I thought and so did the vet) and went back in and had blood work drawn...thank God! They called me the next morning and next thing you know she was in ICU! Not once did she look sick! If I had not done that blood work, at some point she would have decompensated...and her illness is nothing to mess with. Many times these pups don't really look sick when they really are. Just the fact that Couver has vomited for so long is very concerning. Don't mean to repeat myself.
Anyway...for your husband if he will look at it. Sometimes it is better to spend some money up front with testing before you end up with a very sick pup and you are buried in vet bills. Cookie's bill was not cheap, but I know from experience just how high it could have been had I waited.
