Thanks, I will check it out. My question is also- what is the point or benefit of dry kibble? Even if people are not advocates of raw, wouldn't a cooked diet be better, or if, time is an impediment, than a great wet food brand like weruva or halo? The myth that dogs needed it for their teeth has been debunked (bones, dental chew, teeth brushing, proper dental care will take care of that.) I am wondering why it's popular if it seems (from what I have researched) that it does not hold a candle to "real food (whether raw or cooked)" or premium wet foods. Or is there a benefit to dry foods I don't know? Thanks so much.

I am not going to get into the pros and cons of raw food. I am not a fan of it, so best I not comment.
The only thing I care to add to this thread is the following website run by a veterinary nutritionist who I believe is a true expert in the field: www.petdiets.com
There are people on this forum who feed raw and I am quite sure they will be around to share their experiences. |
