Exactly...and honestly there was no way for your or the vet to know. It is not all that common that a pup will be that uncomfortable. I believe that the pups are just like people....some are just more reactive to discomfort.
I have had pups actually scream and not want to be touched anywhere...first time that happened, it scared the heck out of me!
