I haven't been active for a while but some of you may remember me. We are at Auburn University vet school with Sadie. I was in Florida visiting my daughter. My husband called Monday morning and told me that Sadie (our six year old yorkie) had a distended abdomen. I told him to head to the Vet's and I would call. It turns out that there was some fluid in her abdomen but there was significant fluid surrounding her left lung. He did blood work and her protein levels are low. He is baffled because it's only her left lung. I flew home and we drove to Auburn last night. She's in with the Dr now. We could use some prayers for this to be something that can be treated.
