My new little morkie friend Shroeder and I (Lynn) are pleased to meet you all. We look forward to learning from the brain trust.
It has been many years since I have had a puppy. The last one was my beloved weimaraner, Idgie. That was quite some time ago. I have always had the joy of dogs throughout my life. After I lost Idgie, I took about 6 years of recovery time before I was ready for a new companion. I could not be rushed. The commitment is too great, and not to be taken lightly.
So far he has been a very good little guy. I picked him up about a week and a half ago. He is going on 13 weeks. The couple I got him from are not breeders. He was raised by a family of 6. 4 of them little girls.
He was pretty well potty trained outside by the time I got him. The love and time that they spent on him is all too apparent. Shroeder's mom is an akc yorkie and his dad is 1/2 party yorkie 1/2 maltese. He has made a good fit for my family of 6. I am mom to a 16 year old son, a 7 yr old son, a 5 yr old son and a 4 yr old daughter.
I hope we have found a good "home" here with all of you.
